MIA............but I am back

Hiya,

Sorry for the absence,  but things didn't go according to plan.........I ended up having two spine operations in the space of two weeks and a whole lot of pain in-between.  But hey I now seem to be on the mend, just need to accept I have limitations, which with me is easier said then done!!

I think during the two Op's my creative Mojo took a bit of a battering as each time I sat down to do something my mind just went blank.  So on Saturday my lovely Husband drove me to Sheffield so I could attend a workshop by the very talented Hel's.  The workshop was held at the Craft Den which is owned and run by the lovely Lynne. If you ever get time to go for a visit you will not regret it at all.

We created a canvas using various techniques, we got very inky and painty but what the heck it was fun. Now in my opinion this is not my best work, but I love it as it has shown me that there is a smidgen of mojo lurking around.  Thank you Hels and Thank you Lynne

I am going to enter this in Hels Sunday Stampers challenge as this week the theme is diamonds and pearls.............

Art seems to be my word for 2013

I have used Tim Holtz Rub on's on some of the petals and stalks, super cute.

I adore how these letters came out, the colour and texture is just lush.

Thank you for taking the time to come by and visit Tuck Towers.
Until the next time. xx

Sue
