Hi
My mojo has well and truly deserted me this weekend. Couldn't wait for the weekend just hadn't planned on my mojo deciding to do a runner.
Having said that I have started a new journal page, it is going to be a Maldives "Wish I was here" page. well that's the plan. A work in progress.
All week I have been engrossed in Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 on-line class. First thing I do when I get home is log on and watch & learn. The classes are fab and if you haven't signed up yet crafting buddies you need to do so. Here is the link.http://www.onlinecardclasses.com/timholtz/class-info/
One of the girls I work with wears a lot of costume jewellery and I have had my eye on a few bits, thinking recycling here.
This little pile of unloved, unwanted and broken jewellery
became this little pile of adornments, just waiting to be utilised onto a project.
Off to move some ink and paper around my desks.........................

Two posts in one day OMG
Hi
Today was my last day off and after my last blog post I set to finishing a canvass I started a couple of weeks ago.I used Prof Tim's mosaic technique on the wings so going to upload to 12 Tags 2012. Yes I know it is not a tag, but.................................. I'm just going to.
I really didn't know what to do with this canvass when I part finished it. Then today I decided to just put a photo of my boy on the canvass, as today it is 8 months since we lost him and it still hurts like hell.
The rose has been made using Hels techniques and I am might proud I finally finished one that didn't end up in the bin.
I used the following:
Ranger black and white Paint Dabber, Dylusions inbetweenies stamp, Dylusions hot pink ink spray, Glossy Accents, TH metal corners and finally Antiquities Cement embossing powder.
And really finally for today...............
This canvass is of me snorkelling in the Maldives and has gone up on my Maldives wall. Oh yes I have a Maldives wall.
I used the following:
Ranger Dabbers in Steam, Pool and Aqua, Wendy Vecchi Art Part square frame, Tissue Tape, Dylusions Around the edge Stamps and a metal heart and wings.
Well that's my creativity over with for the week and I have enjoyed every minute it.

Loving the inks
Hi
I was off work yesterday and decided it must be time to play with my new little babies................... Guess I did just that !!!!!!!!!
Oh dear and this was after cleaning my hands with the Ranger scrubbie.
I started making backgrounds to use in future projects. I just love the vibrant colour of Dylusions ink. Might have to re buy Lemon Zest, Bubblegum Pink as once I started I could not stop.

Halfway through the morning I remembered that one of my guys at work is 18 on Wednesday of this week and I needed a special card for her (lastminute.com as usual). She is so very tiny and very girly and I just knew the stamp I wanted to use............so out came the Dylusions stamps. I was having so much fun and the day was running away from me.
This little masterpiece
Became this uber masterpiece
Absolutely love it and hope she will too. I used the following products in my creation
Dylusions spray inks : Bubblegum Pink, Melted Chocolate, Lemon Zest and Sky Blue from Dy's original inks - Altered Originals
Dylusions Stamps: Curious Corrin and Doolally Dorris
Glossy accents, Glue and Seal and Brushed Corduruy distress ink.
At the end of the day I had a quick check of the challenge blogs I follow and found that I can submit the card in Simon says Stamp & show.
Hope you have enjoyed my work.
As I am off today I am going off to play again...............................

Saturday delights!
Hi
After another extremely tough week at work Saturday arrived and that could only mean I was off to AFTH for two reasons:
1 To pick up my inks......................Oh yes baby, they are so lush and now in my hot little hands.

2. To attend a workshop taster with the wonderful Kaz.
Kaz is such a nice lady and very modest about her talent which is so refreshing to see.
We made a three legged tag, which at first I thought WHAT, but after having made it I so know that I will be making more of these little babies.
When you attend workshops you more than likely meet up with friends and yesterday the lovely Donna was there and also the very talented Tracy, great to see them both again.
Here is too the next meet up.
Really beginning to like Art Journalling, not that I am any good at it yet, but you never know. On the recommendation of the lovely Kaz I went off to WH Smiths today and brought a copy of a mag called LOVE to assist me with images! Couldn't find any of Dy's recommendation though but will keep looking.
I am off for two days now and I fully intend to end up with very messy hands.

Work in progress
Hi
Been a few weeks since my last post. Just run out of time, work is really far too busy.
Friday I took the day off and went to my fav shop in the whole world AFTH. I went to pick up Dy's new stencils and a few other items slipped into my bag (paid for of course). Also booked myself on to Kaz's workshop next Saturday, really looking forward to that..
Dy was in the building which was fab, had a bit of a natter and as always laugh or two.
Well what have I managed to produce over the last couple of weeks? To be honest three works in progress.
Number 1
This is a mix of using Dy's , Tim's and Ranger products, with a hand made rose using Hels Sheridan's technique chucked into the mix. I used Tim's technique for March 12 tags of 2012, on the wings. Love the mosaic effect, brilliant idea. Had to do a bit of a touch up with black paint, that's why there is a shiny patch lol.
To be honest not really sure what this will turn into.........................
Number 2
I have been trying to art journal and this page is a total try of different methods, products and techniques. Messed up a few times, but isn't that what it is all about? Work in progress...............................
Number 3
I really loved this page until I messed it up, hence why I have stuck a big flower on the page to hide the mega mistake whilst I took a photo. I need to find something else to go on there. The idea behind the page was feeling like you are being watched. Long story and one day I will be able to tell it all but at present have to keep it to myself.
Anyway hopefully I will get to do a few of the challenges this week.
have a good week
Thanks for looking
